Ping & Pong - Come and Play Along

Happy To Be Here

Today I had planned to spend a day together with the Ford Escape Roadrunners at their pit stops. I had spent the better part of the morning finalizing a few arrangement on my plans to get more publicity and so far I'm doing ok.

Terence, Lil' John & Jared

I met up with the guys at Mentari Business Park but I was a minute too late. They had wrapped up the activities and were about to leave in search of lunch. Since I had planned to stick around until after the stop at Civics Centre, MBPJ, I decided to tag along with them to the eating place.

We headed to a coffee shop in Sunway and they guys started ordering their food. One thing good about them is that they are able to multi task. Even during lunch they were discussing about working thus not a single minute wasted. Good on you guys!

We drove off to MBPJ Civic Centre around 2.45pm and there a large crowd was waiting for the arrival of our Roadrunners. This time around, the ping pong table made an appearance.

Ping Pong Come & Play Along

It's time to play ping pong guys. I remembered when I was young, there was this TV show where the main characters were Ping & Pong. If anyone out there remembers the name of this show, please drop me a mail at annlivingwithikaserenacandpietro@yahoo.com. Back to our Ping Pong game put together by our Roadrunners. Participation for the game was overwhelming and everybody had to undergo 2 elimination rounds.

In the end there were 4 finalists who went through challenging knockout sessions where the ultimate winner of the game won a t-shirt and free movie passes to GSC. Well done!

I got what I had came for from the Roadrunners this time around. Great pictures to post on my blog were my primary goal plus winning some goodies was indeed a very pleasant bonus that leaves a smile on the face all day.

As always, thank you so much to our Roadrunners for the much needed "entertainment" that you guys brought to our mundane lives. To all the supporters who took the time to be with us at Civic Centre MBPJ and our Roadrunners, take care, drive safely and enjoy the photos.

Top 10 eating Places In Klang Valley

I suddenly had the idea of doing a feature on top 10 eating places in the Klang Valley. It could be prompted by my love for local food thus always on the look out for a new place to try. My desire to eat really spicy food even made me learnt the art of cooking. My grandma, bless her soul, was my mentor when it comes to creating magic in the kitchen. She could bake from the most delicious wedding cake complete with sugar icing decorations to local dishes such as Assam fish, honey chicken and much more. From her I learnt to select only the best herbs for my cooking, how to clean a fish, chop a chicken, cut the meat and even selecting the best pot or pan to cook in. My only regret was not to learn how to bake from her because her cakes were truly legendary.

So for my 1st assignment, I decided to head on to my favorite food joint in SS15, Subang Jaya, known as Asia Café. Situated strategically at a corner facing Inti & Taylor’s colleges, Asia Café is also within walking distance from Metropolitan collage. The reason why it is so famous is because it housed a variety of food stalls. Here you can find Thai Tomyam, Chinese Chicken Rice, Indian Roti Phrata, Korean Kim Chi Noodles, Hong Kong Dim Sum, Italian Pizza, Nyonya Nasi lemak, Mixed Rice, Satay, Fried Mushrooms and Seaweed Fish Fillet Noodles and many more.

If you have a large family, you should take them there. No more arguments on where to go and best of all, you don’t even need to get everyone to vote anymore. Asia Café will have something that appeal to each and every one of your family member.

Last night when I reached Asia café, the place was bursting with raw energy. Patrons were busy eating while waiters and waitresses were busy delivering plates of food or glasses of drinks. I covered every corner, chatting up with everyone about the competition and to some extend introducing my 3 buddies to those who are not familiar to them. I even had a young lady who rushed up to me asking for a photo because she is a listener of Mix FM and was aware of the competition being held. The best part of the night was that everyone granted my request to take a photo with them and this old gal drove back with a happy smile on my face.

This is a work in Progress that will be updated every now and again when I have a chance to visit another eating place worthy to be featured on this blog.
Thank you.
